It's a Dash Extravaganza!

I have been hard at work honing my GIMP and Simhub skills.  I hope that each pack of gauges that I release get better and better.  I hope you enjoy.  Here are the packs I have released and stick around until the end to see a new pack I'm working on.  This pack will offer more customization for my fellow truck drivers. Here we have the AutoMeter Antique pack.  These are a slick set of gauges that would go great in any older or newer truck.  I have a full set with a few options.  to choose from.  I even included a analog style CPU, GPU and FPS gauge.  These are configured to use hwInfo64 but can be catered to use any monitoring software supported by Simhub.  This next pack is a IssPro gauges set.  These are currently catered to Kenworth but I will be uploading the badges for the rest of the trucks soon. Finally here is the latest pack I'm working on based on the Classic Instruments American Gauges.  They will be available to download after 6-27-24 You can find all my packs and f

I have been working on more and more dash cluster combos.  I love having the option to switch it up so maybe it will better suit the truck I'm driving at that time.  I have been scouring the web for every gauge I can find.  Here are a few I'm working on this week.   First up is a older Kenworth dashboard.  This is bits and pieces I have found.  I believe this came out of a 80s t600 the VDO gauges are really cool.  I'm working on a better needle and I have the turn signals animated.  I should have a final version in a week so stay tuned.   This set is a awesome AutoMeter set of Antique gauges.  These look really good and I have a working odometer.  I need to build out the rest of the gauges and include a tact or Speedometer & Tact combo. Thats all for me today.  Like I said stay tuned ill release the final versions soon.  Check out my previous posts for more dashboards.  Maybe a week or so.  Take care all C Ray Sim Trucking

SimHub Isspro Gauges for ATS

I have been trying to step up my realism and immersion for truck simulation.  I have always appreciated a good gauge cluster.  Seeing all the gauges moving around is a cool touch to any sim.  I wasn't able to find a dashboard that fit my needs so I figured lets just create one. So lets start with some pictures and what needs to be done.  We will start with the Fuel Gauge.   Using all the wizardry of copy, paste and erase.  I was able to leave gimp with a image of the gauge with no needle.  You will see its not perfect..  A few touchups will have it looking perfect. From here this is where the fun starts.   For me I found that it was easiest to just copy an existing needle and its settings from another project and cater it to the new gauge.  So lets take a look at that.  Here we have a simple dash that consists of 3 gauges.  Fuel, Oil Pressure and Oil Temp.   Lets borrow a dial gauge from another project.  I will simply copy the SpeedGauge Dial over to our gauge and position it corr

Some things I have found helpful for Truck Simulation Part 3

Sim Dashboard   Sim Dashboard is a great android application that you can use to transform you old phone into a awesome dashboard for pretty much anything game related.  Sim Dashboard supports all the major simulators from Assetto Corsa to Farm Simulator.  This isn't just for PC users consoles are supported too!  You can create your own dashboards or pick from a treasure trove of great community created dashboards.   Its definitely a must have for any simulator enthusiast.   https://www.stryder-it.de/simdashboard/ For me I have seen better performance on weak or very old devices than I did with SimHub.  I have a tablet that cannot stream or play youtube. I thought it was mostly useless. It was never able to display dashboards from simhub smoothly.  It was always a few steps behind.  But with Sim Dashboard it works great. I also found they work just fine together no issues to report so far.  I have run as many as 5 devices at the same time and had no issues. Visiting the Community D
